Fantasy is a part of nature. Many creations in nature themselves look like fantasies. Many of us enjoy looking at nature's creations such as mountains, trees, clouds, moon etc because they are larger than life creations and they exhibit an aura of power, sometimes even an air of invincibility. When it comes to buildings and other forms of built environment the rule is almost the same. We humans have a tendency to admire the physical attributes of the objects we look at such as height, volume, size etc. The sheer overpowering nature of such creations very often evokes spontaneous reactions from us, usually one of disbelief. 'Oh my God' is an expression that you are sure to get from a person viewing Niagra Waterfall or Pyramids of Egypt for the first time in real life.
